The prestigious award of “Sangita Saarva Bhouma” in memory of his Guru Chembai has been conferred on the all time greats Dr.Semmangudi, Dr.M.S.Subbulakshmi. and Smt.D.K.Pattammal. Though not fascinated by awards, they do seek him from time to time! In his career spanning over five decades, many honours and awards that have been bestowed on Dr..TVG.
